MediaXchange™

MediaXchange is a range of format conversion, transcoding and video analysis tools that can work as stand alone applications or as part of a larger system such as MediaStor.

Typically, the problems of file incompatibility between different broadcast servers, edit systems and storage devices lengthens processing times and introduces complexities in your workflows. By using MediaXchange these problems can be avoided and workflows simplified.

MediaXchange is operated within the Suitcase TV Aqua environment making the GUI instantly recognisable and easy to use. Aqua, MediaXchange and MediaStor are all fully mutually compatible and can be readily combined to create flexible media storage and management solutions.

MediaXchange Modules

• MediaXchange Data Mover - for moving media between servers, edit stations and storage devices. Options available for Omneon, SGI, Seachange, Avid, Quantel
• MediaXchange QC Analysis – automatic QC analysis of media during ingest.
• MediaXchange MXF Ingest – unwrapping MXF files for playout on a variety of
  servers
• MediaXchange MXF Timecode Conform – for synchronising the MXF timecode
  with the VITC in the essence or re-writing the timecode to pre-defined values.
• MediaXchange MXF Writer – for wrapping or creating MXF files from other
  formats.
• MediaXchange Transport Packet Reformatter – does what it says on the tin.
