TrakStak is a software application for the simple addition and adjustment of audio tracks for broadcast.
It is not uncommon for additional audio tracks to arrive after your content has been ingested, meaning each time a new language track arrives from the dubbing house, another time consuming ingest must be performed.
With TrakStak, the new audio track is appended to your asset at up to 80 times real-time, without the need to re-ingest the video.
Initially the new audio track is aligned to the video using timecode to synchronise. But any adjustment to the alignment is made easy by the intuitive user interface. At the click of a button you can nudge the track, frame by frame, backwards or forwards to ensure accurate lip sync correction.
Tracks can be re-ordered at any time so it doesn’t matter which track arrives first and QC can be performed track by track ensuring there are no hold ups in the workflow.
TrakStak MXC is a server based product that offers the ability to add audio tracks as an automated or batch process. This means that as soon as an audio track arrives in the drop box it is associated with the correct asset ready for QC without any operator intervention.
