ShotLogger
ShotLogger is a versatile software application from the Aqua suite. It is designed for the quick logging of shots and for creating metadata tags for your video content.
Coupled with Aqua Splice, ShotLogger provides a fast and flexible way to edit and repurpose your content time and time again.
With ShotLogger you can markup points of interest in your video, capture information about those events and then store it all for future use in your database. It is perfect for marking up goals and penalties in football, crashes and overtaking in F1 racing, speeches at political party conferences, special events in newsgathering, flashing lights, nudity, violence, profanities for film and TV compliance - the list is endless.
Typically this information, synchronised to the video by timecode, can be used to select media with common themes from which you might want to create, for example, a montage sequence or a series promo, or even the edited highlights from a single sporting event.
ShotLogger comes in a neutral design template GUI designed to cover a broad range of uses.
But by using the Aqua Dynamic Forms utility, the GUI can be transformed readily into a bespoke design that suits the precise function required by the customer.
The ShotLogger GUI displays the video and the video timeline, making it easy to identify where you are in the video content, and fast-buttons labeled with common events to enhance speed of tagging, plus the opportunity to add any other information.
